Hydrosorb is a hydrocellular gel dressing with a semi-permeable top layer which is impermeable to bacteria. This transparent dressing provides a balanced moist wound environment due to the high water content of about 60%, designed to promote granulation and epithelization.
Hydrosorb has excellent biocompatibility, can be removed without wound irritation and is available with adhesive film border.
Hydrosorb Non-Adhesive dressing has a self-adhesive effect; however for a permanent fixation, an additional securing with hypoallergenic adhesive tapes or conforming bandages is recommended.
